Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to your servers?
No. DoneImg tools run in your browser using your own device. Your pictures are not sent to us or to anyone else. You can check this in your browser’s network panel while you work.
Is DoneImg really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark on your results and no daily limit set by us. Very large batches are limited only by what your device can handle.
Which image formats can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP, SVG and HEIC/HEIF can be opened. Outputs are JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF, ZIP and text, depending on the tool. Support for AVIF depends on your browser.
Will quality suffer when I compress or convert?
You choose the balance. JPG and WebP use lossy compression, so lower quality settings make smaller files. PNG output stays lossless unless you pick colour reduction. A live preview shows the result before you download.
Can I process many images at once?
Yes. Most tools accept up to 50 images at a time and give you a single ZIP to download.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tools work in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on phones, tablets and computers. Very large photos may be slower on older phones.
